JCC: Korean War

LevelAdvanced

Agenda Item: Open Agenda

With the newly ended World War 2, the start of a new era had begun, yet the waters were still murky over the Korean peninsula. The ending had clouded Korea with an intense and harsh civil war. The U.S. and NATO-backed South under the command of Syngman Rhee against the Soviet and Chinese-backed North led by Kim Il Sung. The Korean War set the fuse to the start of a way greater one, a cold one. The war was not just a territorial dispute, it was a power struggle between the West and the East. In this joint crisis committee, you are holding the strings of faith to end such a conflict.
